Western Montana Mental Health Center (WMMHC) considers the privacy and security of its patients, employees, and partners to be of the utmost importance. We prioritize transparency and communication with our community, which is why we would like to provide the following information:

Mid-September 2024, WMMHC discovered an issue on our network. Upon discovery, we promptly took steps to secure the environment and began an investigation to determine the nature and scope of the issue. The investigation into this incident is ongoing, and we are working diligently to determine the nature and scope of the incident and its impact on any data stored on our systems. If WMMHC determines that this incident impacted any sensitive or protected health information, we will move quickly to notify any impacted parties whose data was affected. However, please note that we have no reason to believe that our Electronic Health Record was affected.
