Vocational services are available to clients who experience difficulty gaining employment or who are struggling in the role of a competitive work situation. In most cases, the client is provided a vocational assessment to determine their work assistance needs and potential funding status. Vocational specialists/job coaches work closely with DVR (State of Montana Vocational Rehabilitation) and the Veterans Administration to obtain funding approval for individual work and/or training plans. Clients requiring supported employment services on a long term basis can continue to receive support to insure stable job performance.
The Workers Now program, recently initiated in the Butte community, offers temporary employment in a variety of service jobs for consumers who are ready and able to participate in part time employment.
